Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Former two time world heavyweight champion Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Still, the novice remains one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really going ahead.
